Over the past 40 years, GCCOC  Group has been committed to localized operations in overseas markets and has signed more than 700 infrastructure projects. A total of 283 connectivity projects, 68 comprehensive urban water supply projects and 36 livelihood improvement projects have been completed in Africa, including nearly 20 key projects involving the Belt and Road Initiative and 11 key bilateral cooperation projects financed by the Export-Import Bank of China. We know that infrastructure is a necessary basic condition for the development of a country, we cherish the valuable input of customers, and strive to ensure that the quality of the executed projects is excellent, and won the unanimous praise of the owners and local people.
The construction, operation, and maintenance of water engineering are the necessary paths for urban development and people's livelihood improvement. Due to the connection between water and Africa, we have built more than 70 water plants and laid over 4300 kilometers of water pipelines in the past 40 years, solving the problem of difficult drinking water for local people.
Ethiopia-Djibouti Cross-border Water Supply Project
This is the largest water supply single project in Africa, which brings the moisture dew to Djibouti, also known as "Boiling Pot". This project is included into A Bright Shared Future - The Stories along with the "Belt and Road" Series prepared by Ministry of Commerce.

Senegal's Village Well Drilling and Water Supply Infrastructure Construction Project
This project have solved the drinking water problem of about one seventh of total population in Senegal, which is included into the 10 "Belt and Road" Projects Promoted by Xi Jinping published on the official website of the "Belt and Road" Initiative (www.yidaiyilu.gov.cn).

Phase I and II Water Supply Project in Douala, Cameroon
Douala Water Supply Phase II Project is a key foreign-aid project determined by the Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, which has solved the drinking water problem of about 2 million people in Douala and greatly improved the local people's livelihood. The project has built the largest cross-river water delivery pipeline and the largest water tower in the China-Africa Community, which also shows the strength of China's infrastructure.

Phase II Water Supply Auxiliary Pipe Bridge Project in Douala, Cameroon
With a total length of 1,000 m, the bridge is the longest and largest existing cross-river water supply pipeline in Cameroon and even Central Africa. Its water delivery capacity exceeds 100,000 m³/d, which greatly promotes the vigorous development of industrial areas and commerce in Douala City. It is awarded as "Sustainable Development Project" by China International Contractors Association(CHICA).

Zobe Regional Water Plant Project in Katsina State, Nigeria
After the completion of the Project, water supply will be provided to Katsina City, which is more than 60 kilometers away from the water plant, and the villages and towns along the line. The water supply of the project covers a total population of 1 million, greatly solving the problem of local residents' difficult water supply and providing basic guarantee for local economic development.

Abuja Big water supply project
The large water supply project is the first project financed by China Exim Bank in Nigeria, and it is also a concrete practice that helps China-Nigeria pragmatic cooperation constantly reach a new height. The main content of the project is to build a pipe network with a water supply capacity of 480,000 cubic meters/day. After the completion of the project, Nigeria's capital region will get rid of the embarrassing situation of no pipe network after water supply from the water plant, open up the last "kilometer" of the water supply system, and effectively alleviate the shortage of water supply for 1.6 million people.
