Over the past 40 years, GCCOC  Group has been committed to localized operations in overseas markets and has signed more than 700 infrastructure projects. A total of 283 connectivity projects, 68 comprehensive urban water supply projects and 36 livelihood improvement projects have been completed in Africa, including nearly 20 key projects involving the Belt and Road Initiative and 11 key bilateral cooperation projects financed by the Export-Import Bank of China. Water conservancy and hydropower projects are fundamental projects of various countries. The company actively participates in the construction of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower facilities in African countries, and has completed a number of DAMS, hydropower stations and irrigation projects according to local needs. The construction of farmland water conservancy projects has reached 32,000 hectares, truly realizing "connecting canals and electricity, irrigation in drought and drainage in flood", making positive contributions to local disaster prevention and mitigation, and improving the supply of renewable energy and agricultural production in African countries.
