On the morning of September 8, Chairman Lan Meizhong met with Blaise Moussa, General Manager of Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation (CAMWATER), who was in China accompanying President Paul Biya of Cameroon to attend the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit. Zhou Ming, Deputy Chief Economist and Director of the Office (Foreign Affairs Office) of Sinopec Xinxing Petroleum Co., Ltd., Lu Chunyü, General Manager of CGCOC Cameroon, as well as heads of relevant departments and subsidiaries, also attended the meeting.

Chairman Lan Meizhong warmly welcomed General Manager Moussa and his delegation, and reviewed the development journey of CGCOC Group, particularly highlighting the nearly 20 years of friendly cooperation with CAMWATER since the Douala Water Treatment Plant Project. He expressed sincere gratitude for the long-standing trust and support from the Cameroonian side. Chairman Lan emphasized that the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit has brought new opportunities for China-Africa collaboration, and that CGCOC and Cameroon now face even broader prospects for cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides will work together to further deepen the development of the water project industry chain.

Mr. Moussa introduced the members of the CAMWATER delegation attending the summit and expressed his appreciation for CGCOC Group's years of dedicated work in Cameroon, as well as his admiration for the achievements made. He engaged in in-depth discussions with Chairman Lan Meizhong on existing business collaborations and potential cooperation opportunities. Mr. Moussa expressed his hope to further strengthen communication and enhance cooperation with CGCOC, with the goal of jointly exploring broader opportunities in international markets.

During the meeting, both parties watched the special promotional video "Partner in Africa's Development, Bridge of China-Africa Cooperation", which showcases CGCOC Group's achievements and contributions to development across the African continent.
