On May 29, local time, Wang Xining, China's Ambassador to Chad, visited CGCOC Chad Ltd. for an inspection tour and working meeting. The delegation was received by Yi Bowen, Deputy General Manager of CGCOC Chad Ltd., together with members of the company's management team.

Welcoming Ambassador Wang and his delegation, Yi expressed his sincere appreciation for the longstanding guidance and support provided by the Chinese Embassy in Chad. He delivered a comprehensive briefing on the company's operations in the country, including its business portfolio, security management framework, and the progress of key projects. Yi noted that, with the continued support of the Embassy, CGCOC would further enhance its project delivery capabilities and management efficiency, deepen its participation in infrastructure and public welfare projects, and contribute to advancing practical cooperation between China and Chad.

Ambassador Wang commended the achievements CGCOC Chad Ltd. has made in recent years and recognized its positive contribution to strengthening China–Chad relations and economic cooperation. During the discussion, he inquired in detail about the operational environment facing Chinese enterprises in Chad and the practical challenges affecting their business activities.

Addressing current supply constraints involving key construction materials and fuel, Ambassador Wang emphasized the importance of closer coordination among Chinese enterprises operating in Chad. He encouraged companies to strengthen collaboration, build greater consensus on development priorities, uphold the tradition of mutual support, and promote resource sharing and complementary advantages to ensure the sustainable and stable development of the Chinese business community in the country.

Ambassador Wang further stressed that Chinese enterprises in Chad must remain firmly committed to lawful and compliant operations, maintain a strong culture of safety, and actively fulfill their corporate social responsibilities. He called on companies to continue strengthening internal governance and management systems while demonstrating a greater sense of responsibility in support of the broader objectives of China–Chad friendship and cooperation.

He reaffirmed that the Chinese Embassy in Chad would continue to provide strong support and assistance to facilitate the high-quality development of Chinese enterprises operating in the country and to create a favorable environment for their long-term growth.
