From February 18 to 20, the first International Forum for Infrastructure Development in Chad (FIDIT) was grandly held in the capital city of N'Djamena. CGCOC delegation led by Pang Dongsong, the General Representative for CGCOC francophone region and General Manager of CGCOC Chad, attended the opening ceremony and held extensive meetings with political and business figures all over Chad.
Chadian Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina attended the opening ceremony and delivered an important speech, stating that the Chadian government is actively improving the business environment, facilitating foreign direct investment and that large-scale and sustainable investors in the infrastructure sector are always welcome in Chad.
During FIDIT, CGCOC set up a dedicated exhibition hall, showcasing the business achievements and future cooperation vision through various forms such as images, videos, and models. Pang Dongsong met extensively with Chadian representatives and reached broad consensus on further strengthening cooperation and promoting more project implementation. He stated that CGCOC will continue to fully leverage its strengths, actively participate in Chad's infrastructure construction, and contribute more to the economic and social development.

The holding of FIDIT provided an important platform for attracting foreign investment and promoting infrastructure construction. As one of the first Chinese infrastructure construction companies entering the Chadian market, CGCOC has been actively involved in Chad's infrastructure construction for many years, implementing major projects in sectors like roads, housing, airports, and municipal works. Through FIDIT, CGCOC aims to further deepen cooperation with Chad's infrastructure sector, making new and greater contribution to Chad's economic and social development and the friendly cooperation between China and Chad.
