The project includes about 6.75 kilometres of two-way 10-lane road, four overpasses, four footbridges and other ancillary works, which is one of the highest-grade highway projects in Nigeria. The completion of the project effectively relieves the congestion in the capital city and drives the economic development of the neighbouring areas, and significantly improves the level of urban construction and the overall image of the city.
