On March 12, Chairman Lan Meizhong met with Tahir Hamid Nguilin, State Minister and Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy and Planning of Chad, who was visiting China. The two sides held discussions and exchanges on further expanding and deepening multi-sector cooperation in Chad.

Chairman Lan Meizhong recalled his meeting with President Déby during the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Summit in September last year and expressed sincere gratitude to Minister Nguilin for his long-standing trust and support for CGCOC Group. Lan Meizhong noted that under President Déby's leadership, Chad enjoys social stability and rapid, comprehensive economic development, which has further strengthened the company's determination to deepen its presence in the country. To this end, CGCOC Group will increase its commitment to the Chadian market, carry out large-scale equipment upgrades, and enhance its delivery capacity to participate more efficiently in Chad's socio-economic development. Regarding the N'Djamena Urban Drainage System Project, which is of particular concern to the Chadian government, Lan Meizhong provided the Minister with a detailed update on the company's progress in technical planning and financing promotion since September of last year.

Minister Nguilin spoke highly of the projects implemented by CGCOC Group in Chad and expressed appreciation for the company's continued and increased commitment to the Chadian market. The Minister noted that the Chadian government is preparing to present its new Five-Year Economic Development Plan to key strategic partners in the United Arab Emirates, and he encouraged CGCOC Group to actively participate in this important event and to continue playing a vital role in the implementation of major projects in Chad. Minister Nguilin particularly highlighted potential areas for cooperation in water supply, mining, and building materials, and expressed the hope of further deepening collaboration with CGCOC Group in these key sectors.

Mr. Pang Dongsong, General Representative for Francophone Africa, and relevant representatives from the Group's Market Development Department accompanied the meeting.
