After the completion of the Project, water supply will be provided to Katsina City, which is more than 60 kilometers away from the water plant, and the villages and towns along the line. The water supply of the project covers a total population of 1 million, greatly solving the problem of local residents' difficult water supply and providing basic guarantee for local economic development.
